Polyglutamic acid with a high molecular weight serves as a protector of hyaluronic acid, preventing its degradation and removing it from the skin. It is a polypeptide biopolymer that effectively regulates the moisture level of the skin by increasing the attraction of water from the external environment, increases the production of ceramides, and controls skin regeneration processes. Increases the level of natural moisturizing factor (NMF) and also inhibits the enzyme hyaluronidase, which breaks down hyaluronic acid in the skin.
